Dirt on clothing is generally divided into liquid dirt (oil) and solid dirt (dirt). The two types of dirt are mainly adhered to the fabric through van der Waals force. Many high-end clothes are not suitable for washing and need to be dry-cleaned. In recent years, the dry cleaning industry has developed rapidly in Chinese cities, and more than 90% of dry cleaners use tetrachloroethylene (PCE) or trichloroethylene (TCE) instead of trichloroethane (TCA) as cleaning agents. In order to protect the ozone layer, the Foreign Affairs Office of the State Environmental Protection Administration promotes the replacement of ODS in the cleaning industry, and PCE and TCE used by most dry cleaners have become a transitional choice. It is hoped that the selection of dry cleaning solvents and washing processes must not only meet the requirements of the corresponding environmental regulations, but also the thorough recycling of solvents has become the goal of green dry cleaning, that is, dry cleaning clothing must not contain toxic or harmful substances that are harmful to the human body and the environment. There are potential factors that may cause harm to the human body. However, PCE and TCE are chlorinated olefin compounds, which can cause liver damage. The metabolite trichloroacetic acid is a peroxisome proliferator, which can cause lipodystrophy, and PCE poisoning incidents have occurred in some dry cleaning places. Therefore, dry ice blasting technology has become an option for the apparel industry.
Dry ice cleaning technology has entered the clothing dry cleaning industry in my country for a relatively short period of time. Due to the high price of dry ice cleaning equipment (dry ice making machine, Dry ice granulator, Dry ice cleaning machine, dry ice ejector) and other reasons, the scope of use in the clothing dry cleaning industry is still relatively small. . Only a few big companies are using it, such as Beijing Prand Clothing Company, which uses dry ice blasting instead of CFC-113 and TCA (1,1,1-trichloroethane) on some clothes. The advantages of dry ice blasting in dry cleaning are as follows.
(1) It can quickly clean oil stains, etc.
(2) The cleaning is fast and the effect is good, which improves the quality of dry cleaning and will not damage the surface of the clothes to be cleaned.
(3) Safety and environmental protection, CO2 is non-toxic, and there is no secondary pollution in the cleaning process; it complies with the relevant laws and regulations of my country's cleaner production; it replaces toxic chemicals for cleaning and avoids harm to the human body; it has high operating safety.
(4) The operation is simple, convenient and practical, and the operation is simple.
